FORT WORTH – In a district playoff rematch from a year ago, 7^th ranked Murray State scored twice in the final 20 minutes to break a scoreless deadlock and forge a 3-1 win over Hill Junior College on the road Tuesday afternoon.

The Aggies improved to 9-0 on the season with the non-conference victory and will be back in league play at home Tuesday facing Northern Oklahoma College-Enid at 1:30 p.m.

Philipp Federer put Murray State on the board with an unassisted goal in the contest 15^th minute, but that all the scoring either team could manage in the opening half of play.

The Rebels wasted little time after the break, knotting the score with a goal just 90 seconds into the second half.

It was a toe-to-toe slugfest over the following 20 minutes before Murray State broke the tie when Alexis Lopez found the back of the Hill goal off a Ryosuke Miyata assist in the 70^th minute.

Miyata found Gustavo Ursino with a pass five minutes later and the freshman punched through an insurance tally for the final goal of the game.

The Aggie backline defense thwarted any Rebel threat over the final 15 minutes and Francisco Pinochet finished the outing with three saves in goal for Murray State.

"I was really proud of the group with the performance against a tough team," head coach Alex Morais commented. "It's not easy to play them here at their place, especially with the heat. We only had one day to recover from our last game on Sunday and some of our guys were cramping and very tired halfway through the game. So, I was very happy with our quality and effort to come out with the win."
