DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - With their backs against the wall in a must-win game, the No. 10 Murray State College men's soccer team battled valiantly but came up short against No. 6 Eastern Florida State College this afternoon. The Aggies fell 3-0.
Eastern Florida seized control in the first half, scoring all three of its goals in a decisive 16-minute stretch. Joao Victor Loureiro opened the scoring in the 19th minute with his eighth goal of the season. Less than ten minutes later, Liam Kuemmritz doubled the Titan lead by converting a penalty kick. Eastern Florida State made it 3–0 in the 35th minute when Henry Crosthwaite finished a setup from Loureiro.

Despite Eastern Florida shutting out the Aggies in the first half and maintaining the lead, Murray State pushed forward after halftime. The visitors from Tishomingo generated four second-half shots, forcing three saves. However, the Aggies couldn't break through the Titan defense. Eastern Florida State outshot Murray State 12–5 for the contest.
With the loss, the Aggies conclude the remarkable 2025 campaign with an overall record of 12-4-3, 9-1-2 in region II play.
