It was a tough day on Friday for Murray State College Aggies, who lost 11-1 to LSU-Eunice. LSU-Eunice scored seven runs in the sixth inning.  The big inning for LSU-Eunice came thanks to a single by PEYTON LeJEUNE, a groundout by CHRISTIAN GONZALEZ, a fielder's choice by BRYCE LaROCCA, an error on a ball put in play by GRANT MANGRUM, and a double by CARTER QUINN. MILES CLACK was credited with the victory for LSU-Eunice. The bulldog lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one.  CADE HART threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Mason Creacy took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. The righty allowed six hits and five runs over five and a third innings, striking out two and walking zero. Murray State College Aggies socked one home run on the day. Garrett Gruell went deep in the seventh inning. Ethan Moore, Chase Keeton, and Gruell all had one hit to lead Murray State College Aggies. LSU-Eunice tallied 11 hits in the game.  GONZALEZ, LeJEUNE, QUINN, and KOLE MYERS each collected multiple hits for LSU-Eunice.  LSU-Eunice was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. MANGRUM made the most plays with nine.

Game 2: Murray State College Aggies Can't Overcome Early Deficit 
Murray State College Aggies watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-4 loss to LSU-Eunice on Saturday.  LSU-Eunice scored on a single by REED EASON, a walk by KOLE MYERS, and a walk by PEYTON LeJEUNE in the second inning. LSU-Eunice got things started in the second inning.  EASON drove in one when EASON singled. Murray State College Aggies scored three runs in the seventh inning.  The rally was led by a single by Patrick McCullough, a sac fly by Ethan Moore, and an error on a ball put in play by Chase Keeton. LSU-Eunice scored three runs in the third inning.  LSU-Eunice's big inning was driven by a walk by CARTER QUINN and an error on a ball put in play by MYERS. PATRICK VIENNE took the win for LSU-Eunice. The hurler went five and a third innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out seven.  LUKE McGIBBONEY, JACKSON FRASER, and DYLAN BEIER all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Cameron Pool took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. . The southpaw surrendered six runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Jayden Shafer led Murray State College Aggies with two hits in four at bats. LSU-Eunice racked up eight hits on the day.  PARKER COLEY and CADE HART each had multiple hits for LSU-Eunice.  LSU-Eunice tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. QUINN led the way with two.

Game 3: Late Score Costs Murray State College Aggies Against LSU-Eunice
Murray State College Aggies stayed in it until the end, but LSU-Eunice pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Sunday.  LSU-Eunice trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning when CADE HART singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. Murray State College Aggies lost despite out-hitting LSU-Eunice nine to six. LSU-Eunice got things moving in the first inning.  PEYTON LeJEUNE drove in one when LeJEUNE singled. In the top of the seventh inning, Murray State College Aggies tied things up at two when Garrett Gruell homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. HART was credited with the victory for LSU-Eunice. The hurler allowed two hits and one run over one inning, striking out one.  BROCK BARTHELEMY and DREW LASSEIGNE entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.  BARTHELEMY recorded the last three outs to earn the save for LSU-Eunice. Tim O'Connor took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. The lefthander went two-thirds of an inning, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Ryan Turbeville started the game for Murray State College Aggies. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out six BRENDAN MOODY started the game for LSU-Eunice. MOODY surrendered two runs on six hits over six and a third innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Murray State College Aggies socked one home run on the day. Gruell had a dinger in the seventh inning. Ethan Moore went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Murray State College Aggies in hits. LSU-Eunice racked up six hits on the day.  LeJEUNE and HART each collected multiple hits for LSU-Eunice.  LeJEUNE led LSU-Eunice with three hits in four at bats.
