Aggies Split Series With South Ark

Murray State College Aggies was victorious over South Arkansas College, 5-1. South Arkansas College got on the board in the second inning.  Ryan Riggs's sac fly scored one run for South Arkansas College. Murray State College Aggies pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Ashton Inman singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and Sage Hampton homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs. Mason Creacy earned the win for Murray State College Aggies. Creacy surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out six. Kade Liverly took the loss for South Arkansas College. Liverly lasted six innings, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out four. Murray State College Aggies smacked one home run on the day. Hampton went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Murray State College Aggies defeated South Arkansas College 14-1 on Thursday thanks to a timely eight runs in a big fifth inning.  Murray State College Aggies batters contributing to the big inning included Ashton Inman, Dondi King, Brady Benedict, Chase Keeton, and Patrick McCullough, who each had RBIs in the inning. Murray State College Aggies fired up the offense in the first inning.  Keeton hit a solo homer. Murray State College Aggies Varsity tallied eight runs in the fifth inning.  The offensive firepower by Murray State College Aggies was led by Inman, King, Benedict, Keeton, and McCullough, all knocking in runs in the inning. Colby Langford was the winning pitcher for Murray State College Aggies. Game 3: Murray State College Aggies Struggles to Find Groove Against South Arkansas College
Nothing came easy for Murray State College Aggies on Friday, as they fell 8-2 to South Arkansas College. Kyle Williams took the win for South Arkansas College. The hurler went six innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out two.  #27 threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Ryan Turbeville took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. The lefthander went six innings, allowing seven runs on ten hits, striking out three and walking one. Murray State College Aggies had seven hits in the game.  Garrett Gruell and Brady Evans each collected multiple hits for Murray State College Aggies.  Evans and Gruell each collected two hits to lead Murray State College Aggies. Game 4: Murray State College Aggies Falls to South Arkansas College After Seventh Inning Score
Murray State College Aggies stayed in it until the end, but South Arkansas College pulled away late in an 18-14 victory on Friday.  The game was tied at 13 with South Arkansas College batting in the top of the seventh when Caleb Nichols singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Despite the loss, Murray State College Aggies did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, South Arkansas College had 18 hits on the way to victory. Murray State College Aggies opened up an early lead in the second inning when Cyrus Campos drew a walk, scoring one run. Murray State College Aggies notched six runs in the fourth inning.  Murray State College Aggies batters contributing to the big inning included Garrett Gruell, Chase Keeton, Ashton Inman, and Patrick McCullough, who each had RBIs in the inning. #27 got the win for South Arkansas College. The pitcher lasted two innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out three.  A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with #12, Jack Wurz, John Stalker, and Nichols all securing outs and ultimately the victory. Tim O'Connor took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. O'Connor lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and eight runs. #15 started the game for South Arkansas College. The ace went one and one-third innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out one Cameron Pool started the game for Murray State College Aggies. The lefthander lasted three and a third innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out three. Murray State College Aggies smacked two home runs on the day. Gruell had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Clay Jung went deep in the first inning.
