MALVERN, Ark. – Murray State's offensive barrage continued on Friday as the fourth-rated Lady Aggies belted nine home runs and 11 doubles on the way to 34 total runs in a pair of run-rule victories over Arkansas State University-Three Rivers.

Murray State exploded for 17 runs in each contest while romping to its eighth and ninth consecutive victories in the 17-3 and 17-1 decisions.

Now 29-1 on the season and 8-0 in league play, the Lady Aggies are slated to wrap up the eastern road trip Saturday against Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff starting at noon.

It was an early blitz in the opener that put the game completely out of reach as the Lady Aggies plated eight runs in the first inning and nine more in the second while completely batting through the lineup in each frame. Sophomore Bradi Harman led the assault with a home run in each stanza.

Harman's three-run blast to left opened the scoring while an Avery Beauchamp double pushed across two runs and Brylee Fanning smacked a solo homer her second time up in the inning.

Doubles from Harman and Kaylee Carter got the ball rolling again in the second frame before Adison "Bubba" Lee stepped to the plate and lofted a two-run homer over the centerfield fence. Fanning and Haili Igou also belted two baggers with Harman capping the scoring with another roundtripper.

The Lady Aggies ended with 19 hits in the five-inning affair led by three apiece from Fanning and Harman. Igou, Kennedy Lord, Karsyn Nye and Brynn Surmont all had two hits with one apiece by Cater, Lee, Beauchamp, Ryann Phillips and Brighton O'Connor.

DrewAnn White got the pitching start and went the distance in the circle, scattering seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk.

Murray State spread around the scoring a bit more in game two, plating four runs in each of the first two innings, five in the third with a pair each in the fourth and fifth stanzas ahead of the run rule.

Run-scoring doubles from Lee and Lord opened the charge in the first while Igou homered and Harman and Lord doubled to highlight the second inning. Cady Ammons and Lee each contributed two-run homers in the third frame as well.

Carter homered to account for the pair of runs in the fourth inning and Phillips belted a home run to spark the fifth stanza.

Thirteen Lady Aggies all tallied hits with Harman, Lee and Lord notching two apiece. Fanning, Igou, Ammons, Carter, Beauchamp, Phillips, Kendyl Overton, Cadence Chambliss, O'Connor and Surmont also tallied one each.

Carolyn Overton fired four innings, yielding one run on three hits while fanning seven and walking one for the pitching victory. Ava Boozer chipped in one frame of two-hit scoreless relief.
