CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Murray State College softball team continued to add to its historic 2026 season as six members of the Lady Aggies softball program were named NJCAA All-Americans, including Lilly Wyche being named the NJCAA DII Player of the Year.

Earning NJCAA First Team All-American honors for the Lady Aggies were Lilly Wyche, Cady Ammons, Kaylee Carter, and Isabella Hardeman, while Brylee Fanning and Jaliyah Simmons were tabbed NJCAA Second Team All-Americans.

For Ammons, Fanning, and Hardeman, the recognition marks the second consecutive season they have earned NJCAA All-American honors.

Lilly Wyche delivered the most explosive offensive season in the country this year. She hit an outstanding .530 with a staggering 1.213 slugging percentage, collecting 97 hits, 105 RBIs, and 30 home runs. Wyche also scored 96 runs, added 17 doubles and nine triples, and was perfect on the bases with 26 stolen bases. Her ability to impact the game in every facet made her one of the most dangerous hitters in the nation.

Cady Ammons showcased incredible consistency and power en route to a tremendous sophomore campaign. She posted a .492 batting average with 98 hits, 94 RBIs, and 20 home runs while adding 22 doubles and four triples. Ammons also scored 84 runs and maintained a .945 slugging percentage, proving to be a reliable run producer in the heart of the order and a key contributor to the team's offensive dominance.

Kaylee Carter put together an outstanding season, combining power and plate discipline at an elite level. She hit .436 with 75 hits, 76 RBIs, and 25 home runs while drawing an impressive 60 walks, helping her post a .577 on-base percentage.

Brylee Fanning continued to be a key contributor with an impressive sophomore season. Fanning batted .449 with 80 hits, 68 RBIs, and 22 home runs, while also scoring 95 runs. Fanning added 25 doubles and four triples, showing her ability to hit for both power and gap-to-gap consistency. With a .564 on-base percentage and strong defensive play, she proved to be one of the most complete players on the roster.

Isabella Hardeman turned in a dominant season in the circle, establishing herself as one of the premier pitchers in the country. She posted a stellar 1.00 ERA with an impressive 31-2 record across 39 appearances. In 160.2 innings of work, Hardeman allowed just 82 hits and 23 earned runs while striking out a remarkable 225 batters and holding opponents to a .145 batting average.

Jaliyah Simmons was a dynamic force throughout her sophomore season, blending power, speed, and production. Simmons hit .442 with 96 hits, 88 RBIs, and 21 home runs while scoring a team-high 104 runs. Simmons also added 32 stolen bases without being caught, showcasing her elite speed and baserunning instincts.
