Big early deficit costly for Murray State men

The Murray State Aggies dug an early hole from which they could never recover in an 81-63 league loss on the road at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on Saturday afternoon.

NEO came out smoking, connecting for seven first half three-pointers while building a 49-33 cushion. Murray was able to even things up much more in the second half but were still outscored 32-30 after the break.

Stanley Harley scored all of his points in the opening half and tied K.J. Boone for team-high scoring honors with 13 apiece. Kameron Johnson and A.J. Richard each tallied nine, Cordrayius Graham contributed seven, Kyle Tolbert had four with Jackson Lawley and Ridley Shema both posting three along in addition to two from Tarrance Austin.

Now 8-15 on the season, the Aggies return to Beames Fieldhouse on Monday to face Seminole State at 7:30 Monday night.
