Aggie Basketball Season Ends with Loss to Jets in Quarterfinals

MSC Men’s Basketball lost to NOC-Enid, 78-67, in the Region 2 Quarterfinals

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — The season came to a close for the Murray State College men's basketball team on Thursday as they fell to Northern Oklahoma College–Enid in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region 2 Men's Basketball Tournament, 78-67.

NOC-Enid built an early advantage and carried a 44–27 lead into halftime. Murray State attempted to respond in the second half, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Malachi Schilreff provided a strong interior presence with 17 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting performance and pulled down eight rebounds. Abeeng Agot added 18 points, five rebounds, and four blocks, while Haki Muhammad II registered 23 points, knocking down three three-pointers.

Despite the second-half surge, the Aggies struggled from beyond the arc, finishing just 4-of-25 (16%) from three-point range. Murray State shot 36.9% overall from the field but was perfect at the free-throw line, converting all 15 attempts.

The Murray State College men's basketball team finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 22-9 record.
