Late Aggie comeback falls short

Box Score By Kevin Farr
Murray State Sports Information

Another dramatic second half comeback for the Murray State Aggies fell just short Monday night as Condrayius Graham's three-pointer at the buzzer was just off the mark in a 65-62 loss to Connors State College Monday night at Beames Fieldhouse.

Murray led by a 35-29 margin at intermission before Connors came alive with a run to start the second and eventually grabbed the lead. Graham and Freddie Cooper combined for 35 points and sparked the Aggies with 10 points each after the halftime break.

Graham tallied with 18 points and Cooper finished with 17 but were the only Murray State players in double figures. Kyle Tolbert scored nine, Tarrance Austin knocked in seven, Riley Shema added five, T.J. Gardner had three while Kameron Johnson contributed two and K.J. Boone picked up one point.

The loss drops the Aggies to 10-16 overall and will visit Redland Community College on Thursday night.
