Five Aggies tally double figures in setback

Box Score By Kevin Farr
Murray State Sports Information

Five Aggies scored in double figures and Murray State poured in a season-high 87 points but it wasn't enough to offset a torrid second half by Grayson College in a 94-87 loss to the visiting Vikings Saturday in Tishomingo.

Grayson held a 40-39 edge at halftime before each team went on an offensive rampage following the break with Murray State reeling off 48 points attempting to keep up with the Vikings' 54. Philadelphia freshman Aaron Lemon-Warren was the second half catalyst for Grayson, pumping in 21 of his game-high 30 points.

Tarrance Austin fueled the Murray offense with 18 points, but the Aggies also got a season-best 15 points from Jackson Lawley along with 15 also from Isaiah Lewis and Treyvaughn Williams. Stanley Harley reached double digits as well with 11.

Adding to the offense for the Aggies was Emery Eberhard with six, Ignas Juskevicius notched four and R.J. Chatman had three.

Slipping to 5-8 on the season, Murray State will look to close the pre-holiday portion of the schedule on Saturday, December 16 at Ranger College.
