Lady Aggies roll past Jacksonville

Six different Lady Aggies hit three-pointers, including freshman Hannah Pinney who poured in a season-high 20 points to spur 21st rated Murray State to a 66-42 non-conference win over Jacksonville College on the road Tuesday night.

Murray State grabbed a 16-10 lead through one quarter and steadily increased the margin throughout in going in front 35-24 at halftime and 50-36 after three stanzas while upping its record to 4-0 on the young season.

Sosefina Langi also reached double digits at 11 points in the well balanced attack that had seven different players tally five points or more. Arissa Garcia notched eight points, Khalayah Willis posted seven points, Ongolea Afu added six as Olivia Quapaw and Tierra Williams tossed in five apiece. Mireia Casas rounded out the scoring with two points.

The Lady Aggies put their unblemished mark on the line at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with a road matchup at Grayson County College.
