RANGER, Texas - The Murray State College women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday night, overpowering Ranger College on the road, 94-44.
The Lady Aggies set the tone early, jumping out to a 24–10 lead after the first quarter before extending the margin to 45–20 at halftime. Murray State continued to pour it on in the third, erupting for 28 points in the frame and taking a commanding 73–28 advantage into the fourth. The Lady Aggies closed the night with a strong final period to secure the 50-point victory.
Murray State's balanced scoring attack and defensive intensity once again fueled the win.
Chardel Terrell led the way with 18 points, while
Aniah Richard poured in 17 and
Keshanti Gordon added 15.
Emily Steven contributed 14 points as the fourth Aggie in double figures.
Eliece Perry chipped in 6 points,
Jada Toure added 4,
J'Lynn Orozco finished with 5, and
Maddy Torres rounded out the scoring with 2.
The Aggies return to the court tomorrow for a road contest against Dallas College - Mountain View. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
