Baseball Splits Series with NOC-Enid

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 Game 1: Murray State College Aggies Takes a Tough Blow From NOC-Enid
Nothing came easy for Murray State College Aggies on Wednesday, as they fell 13-3 to NOC-Enid.NOC-Enid got things moving in the first inning.  An error scored one run for NOC-Enid. NOC-Enid pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning.  In the second Josh Hendricks hit a solo homer and Calyn Halvorson hit a solo homer. NOC-Enid scored seven runs in the third inning.  The big inning for NOC-Enid came thanks to a home run by Tanner Holliman, a groundout by Sammy Harris, an error on a ball put in play by Hendricks, and a double by Halvorson. Piercen McElyea earned the victory on the mound for NOC-Enid. The hurler surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out four. Mason Creacy took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. Creacy went two and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking one. Murray State College Aggies launched two home runs on the day. Garrett Gruell had a homer in the second inning. Brady Evans went yard in the second inning.Ashton Inman, Patrick McCullough, Evans, and Gruell each collected one hit to lead Murray State College Aggies . NOC-Enid scattered 11 hits in the game.  Blake Scott, Halvorson, Hendricks, and Jack Roubik all managed multiple hits for NOC-Enid.  NOC-Enid was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Scott had the most chances in the field with four.
 
Game 2: Murray State College Aggies Can't Catch Up To NOC-Enid
Murray State College Aggies fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-7 loss to NOC-Enid on Wednesday.  NOC-Enid scored on a single by Blake Scott in the first inning and a double by Ben Lawson in the second inning. Despite the loss, Murray State College Aggies did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, NOC-Enid had ten hits on the way to victory. NOC-Enid got things moving in the first inning.  An error scored one run for NOC-Enid. Dillon Dibrell was the winning pitcher for NOC-Enid. The pitcher surrendered four runs on six hits over six innings, striking out two and walking zero.  Gunner Phillips and Maddux Mayberry entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Colby Langford took the loss for Murray State College Aggies. Langford surrendered five runs on six hits over four innings, striking out five and walking zero. Murray State College Aggies collected ten hits.  Patrick McCullough and Cyrus Campos all had multiple hits for Murray State College Aggies.  Campos and McCullough each managed two hits to lead Murray State College Aggies. NOC-Enid totaled ten hits in the game.  Lawson and Jack Roubik all managed multiple hits for NOC-Enid.
 
Game 3: Moore's Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Murray State College Aggies Victory Over NOC-Enid
Murray State College Aggies defeated NOC-Enid 4-3 on Saturday thanks to a walk-off home run.  The game was tied at three with Murray State College Aggies batting in the bottom of the seventh when Ethan Moore hit a solo homer. NOC-Enid opened up scoring in the first inning, when Tanner Holliman grounded out, scoring one run. Murray State College Aggies scored three runs in the third inning.  Garrett Gruell had an RBI home run in the inning to lead the run scoring. Dylan Hill pitched Murray State College Aggies to victory. Hill allowed one hit and one run over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Thomas Kuykendall took the loss for NOC-Enid. Kuykendall allowed seven hits and four runs over six innings, striking out four. Ryan Turbeville started the game for Murray State College Aggies. The pitcher surrendered two runs on six hits over five innings, striking out five.
Murray State College Aggies hit two home runs on the day. Moore went deep in the seventh inning. Gruell had a long ball in the third inning. Murray State College Aggies tallied seven hits in the game.  Gruell and Moore all managed multiple hits for Murray State College Aggies.  Moore and Gruell each collected two hits to lead Murray State College Aggies. Jack Roubik led NOC-Enid with two hits in three at bats.  NOC-Enid didn't commit a single error in the field. Josh Hendricks had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
 
Game 4: Murray State College Aggies Claims Victory Over NOC-Enid in Blow-Out Fashion, 14-4
Murray State College Aggies had everything working on Saturday, winning big over NOC-Enid 14-4. Murray State College Aggies opened up scoring in the first inning.  Garrett Gruell drove in two when Gruell homered. Murray State College Aggies tallied five runs in the seventh inning.  Murray State College Aggies batters contributing to the big inning included Patrick McCullough and Gruell, all driving in runs in the frame. Cameron Pool earned the win for Murray State College Aggies. The lefthander allowed two hits and two runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one.  Tim O'Connor threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Zach Roden took the loss for NOC-Enid. Roden surrendered six runs on six hits over two and a third innings, striking out three. Murray State College Aggies hit six home runs on the day. McCullough had a homer in the seventh inning. Gruell went yard in the first and seventh innings. Ashton Inman had a four bagger in the second and third innings. Chase Keeton had a dinger in the sixth inning. Murray State College Aggies tallied 13 hits.  Keeton, Gruell, McCullough, Inman, and Dondi King all managed multiple hits for Murray State College Aggies.  Keeton led Murray State College Aggies with three hits in five at bats.
