Second half blitz propels Aggies to victory

Kameron Johnson, Dayten Holman and Brian Fuery combined for 30 points in a 42-point Murray State explosion in the second half to propel the Aggies to a 70-55 road victory at Jacksonville College on Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies trailed 32-28 at the halftime break but came alive behind Johnson, Holman and Fuery in the final 20 minutes to turn things around. Johnson notched 12 after intermission with Holman pumping in 10 and Fuery scoring eight during the rally as they outscored the host Jaguars.

Johnson more than doubled his season scoring high with a huge 20-point performance in the paint. Holman also added a season-best 18 points as the only Aggies in double figures.

Fuery and K.J. Boone posted eight points each, A.J. Richard scored six, T.J. Gardner had five, Cordrayius Graham pitched in four with Tarrance Austin tallying three points.

After improving their record to 6-4 on the season the Aggies will be back on the road Monday night for a conference tilt at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid.
