After a back-and-forth opening half, the Murray State Lady Aggies broke open a tight game with a big flurry, but still had to hold off host LSU-Eunice Friday night for a solid 72-63 road victory.

th ranked Jones College to wrap up the LSU-Eunice Classic.
Locked in a 41-all deadlock midway through the third period, Murray State put the clamps on the hosts with a strong full court press that spurred a 16-3 run which put the Lady Aggies ahead to stay.
Remi Langmaid sank one of her three treys with 3:22 left in the third that ignited the decisive flurry as the Lady Aggies pushed the advantage to 49-44 heading to the fourth. Murray State then started the final frame with eight consecutive points capped by a
Lanie Gooch layup following a steal.
The host Lady Bengals closed to within 65-61 in the closing minutes and were threatening for more until Bella Peterson's conventional three-point play in the paint with 1:03 remaining iced the victory away. Peterson finished as one of four Lady Aggies in offensive double figures.
Sophomore Jade Millan once again led the charge with a game-high 19 points. Langmaid tallied 13 and Gooch also pitched in 10. Cristina Laudan and
Mattie Busby were each just outside double digits with eight and seven points respectively. McKenna Johnson scored one.
