Box Score MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The top-seeded Murray State College women's basketball team battled throughout the Region 2 Championship but ultimately fell to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Saturday afternoon, 54–43.
The Lady Aggies kept the game tight early, trailing just 12–9 at the end of the first quarter after a competitive opening period. Both teams struggled to find consistent offense, but NEO A&M managed to create a bit of separation in the second quarter.
By halftime, NEO had extended their lead to 25–16 as Murray State worked to break through against a tough defensive effort. The Lady Aggies began to find more rhythm offensively in the third quarter, cutting into the deficit with improved scoring and energy on both ends of the floor.
Despite the push, NEO A&M maintained control heading into the final period, leading 37–30. Murray State continued to battle in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Norse were able to hold off the Lady Aggies down the stretch to secure the 54–43 victory.
The Murray State College women's basketball team concludes the 2025-26 campaign with a 26-7 record.
