SEMINOLE, Okla. - The Murray State College women's basketball team turned in a dominant 2025–26 season, en route to being Region 2 Regular Season champions and earning multiple top individual honors along the way.
Head coach
Nate Levine was named Region 2 Coach of the Year after leading Murray State to their second straight season of being named Region 2 regular season champions. The Lady Aggies finished with an outstanding 26-7 overall record and a dominant 15-1 mark in conference play.
At the center of that success was
Jordyn McNeal, who earned Region 2 Player of the Year honors following a stellar season. McNeal led the Lady Aggies averaging a team-best 12.9 points per game while shooting an efficient 47.7% from the field. She also made an impact on the glass with 6.9 rebounds per game and added 58 assists, showcasing her all-around ability and leadership throughout the season.
Keshanti Gordon also earned All-Region Team honors after delivering an impressive season. Gordon scored 11 points per game and knocked down 63 three-pointers, while adding 128 rebounds and team-leading 65 steals. Her scoring versatility and defensive presence made her one of the most impactful players in Region 2.
The Lady Aggies' depth was further highlighted by
Aniah Richard and
Eliece Perry, both of whom were named All-Region Honorable Mention. Richard contributed 10.5 points per game and added 93 rebounds and a team-high 161 assists, playing a key role as a playmaker and facilitator.
Perry was dominant in the paint, totaling 10.5 points per game while shooting an impressive 56.7% from the field. She was also a force on the boards, leading the team with 11.6 rebounds per game and anchored the defense with a team-best 61 blocks, giving Murray State a strong interior presence on both ends of the floor.
