Lady Aggies Sweep Western

Murray State College Defeats Western, 5-2
Murray State College beat Western 5-2 on Tuesday.
Murray State College got things started in the first inning. Murray State College scored one run when Abby Beck doubled.
Murray State College pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Channing Scallorn singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and Logan Martin doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Caroline Pattison was credited with the victory for Murray State College. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out six.
Shawnee started the game for Western. The hurler allowed eight hits and five runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five. #23 threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Pitching By Sheyenne Shuts Out Western, Murray State College Takes The Win
Sheyenne Cheek threw a shutout to lead Murray State College past Western 16-0 on Tuesday.
Kinsey Nix led Murray State College to victory by driving in four runs. Nix went 2-for-2 at the plate. Nix drove in runs on a single in the second and a double in the third.
Murray State College got on the board in the first inning when Abby Beck singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Murray State College put up nine runs in the second inning. Sabetha Sands, Beck, Kenzie Lasker, Katyn Denson, Nix, and Adi Reese each had RBIs in the big inning.
One bright spot for Western was a single by Rackley in the first inning.
Cheek was credited with the victory for Murray State College . Cheek allowed five hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Spriggs was on the rubber for Western. The pitcher went one inning, allowing three runs on one hit. Funk and #23 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
