Box Score MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The top-seeded Murray State College women's basketball team opened postseason play with a strong performance, defeating No. 8 seed Eastern Oklahoma State College, 72–59, in the first round of the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament.
Murray State set the tone early, jumping out to a slight advantage in a competitive first quarter. The Lady Aggies held a 23–20 lead after the opening period before creating separation in the second quarter. Murray State tightened up defensively and found rhythm on the offensive end, outscoring Eastern Oklahoma State to take a 47–34 lead into halftime.
The Lady Aggies continued to control the pace in the third quarter, maintaining their double-digit advantage and extending the margin to 58–43 heading into the final period. Murray State managed the game down the stretch, holding off any comeback attempts by Eastern Oklahoma State to secure the victory, 72-59.

Jordyn McNeal led the Lady Aggies offensively with 15 points each.
Chardel Terrell chipped in with 10 points.
The Lady Aggies will face No. 5 Seminole State College in the Region 2 Semifinals on Friday. Tipoff is at 1:00 p.m.
