Lady Aggies Roll Past Seminole State for 10th Straight Win

Murray State bested Seminole State College tonight

Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College women's basketball team continued its dominant run on Thursday night, defeating Seminole State College, 80-50, to earn its 10th consecutive victory.

The Lady Aggies controlled the pace from the opening tip and carried a 37-27 advantage into halftime. Murray State's defensive pressure and balanced scoring proved to be the difference, as the Lady Aggies limited Seminole State's opportunities while steadily building their lead.

Murray State came out of the locker room firing in the third quarter, outscoring Seminole State 22-10 to extend the margin to 59-37 at the end of the period. From there, the Lady Aggies never looked back, closing out the game with another strong quarter to secure the 30-point win.

Jordyn McNeal led the way for Murray State with 20 points, while Keshanti Gordon added 15 and Jada Toure chipped in 13 to pace the Lady Aggies' offense.

The Lady Aggies will look to keep the momentum rolling as they prepare for their next matchup against NEO on Saturday. Tipoff is set for Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. in Miami, Oklahoma.
