MIAMI, Okla. - The Murray State College Lady Aggies turned in a poised and physical performance on Saturday, knocking off No. 18 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M by a score of 65–57 in an impressive road victory.
Murray State set the tone early, jumping out to a 20–14 lead after the first quarter behind strong defensive effort and efficient offense. NEO responded in the second quarter, trimming the margin, but the Lady Aggies carried a slim 30–29 advantage into halftime.
Coming out of the break, Murray State took control of the game. The Lady Aggies outplayed NEO in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 45–37 with disciplined half-court offense and stifling defense.
NEO made multiple pushes in the fourth quarter, but Murray State never wavered. The Lady Aggies executed down the stretch, converting key possessions and closing out the game to secure the 65–57 road win.
Jordyn McNeal led all scorers with 22 points, while collecting eight boards.
Eliece Perry posted a dominant double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds, while
Chardel Terrell finished with 10 points including a pair of made three's.
Keshanti Gordon chipped in nine points with a team-high three steals.
Murray State will return to the court on February 9 as they host NOC-Enid. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
