Box Score EUNICE, La. - The Murray State College baseball team delivered a statement win Friday, knocking off the No. 10-ranked LSU Eunice Bengals for the second time this season.

Murray State struck first in the top of the fourth inning. After a leadoff triple by
Rayner Beene,
Tanner Norman lifted a sacrifice fly to left field, allowing Beene to score and giving the Aggies a 1–0 advantage.

The Aggies created separation in the sixth inning with a decisive three-run rally.
Marlon Moore delivered a key line-drive single to right field that plated both Norman and Beene, extending the lead to 3–0. Later in the inning,
Eli Ramirez added to the surge with a single to left field, scoring
Cason Johnson and pushing Murray State's lead to 4–0.

LSU-Eunice mounted a late comeback in the bottom of the eighth inning. Clapinski sparked the Bengals with a two-run triple to left field, trimming the deficit to 4–2. Moments later, Obradovich followed with an RBI single to score Clapinski and pull LSU-Eunice within one run.

Chance Baker, though, slammed the door shut in the bottom of the ninth as he worked a 1-2-3 inning, giving Murray State a 4-3 victory on Friday.

Tayte Dome kept the hosts off balance all game as he fired seven innings of one run ball, while striking out eight. Baker came on in relief to get the final six outs.

The Aggies return to the diamond Saturday to continue the three game series with LSU-Eunice. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
