Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - In a game that tested every ounce of grit and determination, the Murray State College women's basketball team battled through two overtimes to defeat Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, 78-76, Thursday night.

With the victory, the Lady Aggies improve to 22-6 overall and remain atop the Region 2 standings at 13-1 in conference play. The win also gave Murray State at least a share of the Region 2 Regular-Season Title.
The contest was tightly contested from start to finish, with neither team able to create much separation. At the half, NEO held a slim lead over the hosts, 27-26. Murray State regained the lead early in the third and would hold a small lead throughout the remainder of the second half. NEO, however, hit a three-pointer with 38 seconds remaining to take the lead, 63-61. The Lady Aggies quickly responded with a layup from
Aniah Richard on a Jada Torres assist. Both teams had a shot to win it, but both defenses held strong to send the game to the first overtime, 63-63.
NEO and the Lady Aggies exchanged baskets in the first overtime period before Murray State dug deep in the second extra frame. Clutch plays on both ends of the floor ultimately sealed the win for the Lady Aggies, who executed in key moments and came up with timely defensive stops down the stretch to secure the victory, 78-76.

Offensively, Murray State was powered by a trio of standout performances.
Jordyn McNeal poured in 21 points, attacking the basket and knocking down key shots in crunch time.
Keshanti Gordon matched her with 21 points of her own, providing a steady scoring presence throughout the night, while
Aniah Richard added 15 points.

With two games remaining in the regular season, the Lady Aggies will travel to Western Oklahoma State College on Mar. 2 for a chance to win Region 2 outright. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
