Box Score 2 CAMDEN, Ark. - The Murray State College baseball team beat SAU Tech twice this afternoon to complete the four-game sweep.
Game 1: Murray State 7, SAU Tech 3
Murray State opened the scoring in the first inning when
Michael Barham crossed the plate on a wild pitch, giving the Aggies a 1–0 lead.

The Aggies extended their advantage in the third inning as
Tanner Norman launched a two-run home run to right field, scoring
Rayner Beene and pushing the lead to 3–0. SAU Tech responded in the bottom half of the inning with an RBI double and later capitalized on a Murray State error to cut the deficit to one. The Aggies answers in the fourth inning as
Grey Johnson drove in
Marlon Moore with an RBI single for the Aggies.

Murray State created separation late in the game.
Fernando Jorge blasted a solo home run in the sixth inning, and the Aggies added two more runs in the seventh when Beene scored on a passed ball and
Sean Keenen delivered an RBI single to seal the 7–3 victory.

Eli Ramirez got the start on the mound as he threw three innings, while striking out five and allowing one earned run.
Caden Allen hurled three innings in relief to pick up the win.
Isaac Gammel shut the door in the seventh with a scoreless inning.

Game 2: Murray State 9, SAU Tech 1
Murray State took the lead in the first inning when Barham lined an RBI single to left field, scoring
Brady Taylor, who had stolen second earlier in the frame. The Aggies extended the lead in the third when Norman connected for another two-run homer, again scoring Taylor to make it 3–0.

SAU Tech got on the board with a solo home run in the fourth, but Murray State answered in the fifth as Norman lifted a sacrifice fly to center field that brought home Barham.

The Aggies continued to add insurance runs late. Beene launched a solo home run in the seventh, Jorge drove in a run with an RBI double in the eighth, and a three-run ninth inning sealed the victory.
Cason Johnson delivered a two-run double to score Norman and Keenen, and Johnson later crossed the plate on a bases-loaded walk drawn by Johnson.

Brance Garrett got the start for the Aggies as he fired five innings of one-run baseball, while striking out four.
Chance Baker threw a scoreless sixth and seventh inning, while
Hank Brown and
Aiden Luscombe threw a scoreless inning apiece.

With the wins, the Murray State College baseball team improves to 11-5 on the season.Â
The Aggies return to the diamond Friday to take on LSU-Eunice in a three-game series. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
