Box Score 2 CAMDEN, Ark. - The Murray State College baseball team put together a dominant day at the plate, sweeping SAU Tech in a doubleheader with a 7-1 win in Game 1 and a 20-6 victory in Game 2.

Game 1: Murray State 7, SAU Tech 1
SAU Tech struck first in the bottom of the fourth inning on a solo home run to left field for a 1-0 lead.

Murray State responded in the sixth inning, beginning with a game-tying solo shot from
Rayner Beene. The Aggies quickly took control after that, scoring three more runs in the frame.
Marlon Moore delivered an RBI single that brought home
Tanner Norman, while
Cason Johnson followed with an RBI groundout to score
Sean Keenen. Later in the inning,
Fernando Jorge added an RBI single to push the lead to 4-1.

The Aggies sealed the win in the seventh inning when
Sean Keenen cleared the bases with a three-run triple, scoring
Brady Taylor,
Michael Barham, and Beene to secure the 7-1 victory.

Tayte Dome went the distance on the bump as he earned the complete-game victory, striking out eight and giving up one earned run.

Game 2: Murray State 20, SAU Tech 6
The Aggies' offense exploded in Game 2, scoring early and often. AÂ sacrifice fly from Keenen, an error that plated two runs, and a two-run homer from
Brady LaViolette gave Murray State a quick 6-0 lead.

The Aggies added to their advantage in the second inning when Norman blasted a three-run home run to extend the lead to 9-0.

After SAU Tech scored twice in the second and third innings, Murray State broke the game open in the fifth. The Aggies scored six runs in the frame, including a grand slam from Beene and another solo homer from Norman.

The visitors from Tishomingo continued to pile on in the sixth inning, as Norman added a sacrifice fly before Keenen launched a three-run home run to make it 20-3.

SAU Tech added late runs on a double from Sanchez and a two-run home run from Holmes in the seventh, but the Aggies' offensive surge proved too much in the 20-6 win.

Carson Culbreath got the start for the Aggies as he fired three innings giving up two earned runs and striking out three.
Peyton Eichler threw two innings of one run baseball, earning the win.
Remington Graham tossed two innings, giving up three runs and striking out two.

The Aggies return to the diamond tomorrow to complete the four-game series with SAU Tech. First pitch is set for 12 p.m.
