Dallas College–Brookhaven struck first in the top of the first inning, using two RBI singles and a groundout to jump out to a 3–0 lead. Murray State quickly answered in the bottom half when
Michael Barham launched a two-run home run to center field, and a wild pitch later brought home
Tanner Norman to tie the game at 3–3.

The Bears regained momentum in the second inning with a three-run homer and an RBI single to push their lead to 7–3. The Aggies responded with a big inning of their own in the bottom of the second.
Tanner Norman delivered an RBI single, and
Sean Keenen capped the rally with a grand slam to right field, giving Murray State an 8–7 advantage.

Dallas College–Brookhaven answered immediately in the third inning, drawing two bases-loaded walks to take the lead before adding a three-run double and another RBI double to extend the advantage to 13–8.

The Aggies chipped away in the fifth when
Fernando Jorge blasted a solo home run to left field to make it 13–9.

The Bears, though, added to their lead again in the seventh scoring on a single, a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded, and a passed ball to push the score to 16–9.

In the bottom of the seventh,
Michael Barham connected for his second home run of the game — a two-run shot to left — trimming the deficit to 16–11.

Dallas College–Brookhaven, however, answered with a pair of runs in the eighth inning on an RBI double and an RBI single to set the final margin at 18–11.

The Aggies return to the diamond on Friday, Feb. 20 as they will travel to Camden, Arkansas to play SAU Tech in a four game series. First pitch is set for 12 p.m.
