Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College women's basketball team turned in a dominant performance Monday night, defeating Connors State College at home to bounce back in convincing fashion. With the win, Murray State improved to 19-6 overall and 10-1 in conference play.
The Lady Aggies set the tone early, holding a narrow 18-15 lead at the end of the first quarter before taking control in the second period. Murray State's offense found its rhythm while the defense tightened, helping MSC build a commanding 44-27 advantage at halftime. The Lady Aggies continued their strong play in the third quarter, extending their lead to 68-39 and putting the game well out of reach heading into the final frame.
Chardel Terrell led all scorers with 24 points, pacing the Lady Aggies' efficient offensive effort. Jordyn McNeal followed with 21 points, providing a consistent scoring presence throughout the contest. Eliece Perry added 15 points to give Murray State three players in double figures.
Murray State's balanced scoring, defensive pressure, and strong second-half execution fueled the decisive victory as the Lady Aggies continue sit atop the Region 2 standings heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
Murray State will travel to Wilburton to take on Eastern Oklahoma State College on Thursday, February 19. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
