Box Score ENID, Okla. - The Murray State College Lady Aggies turned in a strong all-around performance Thursday night, earning a 70–62 victory over NOC–Enid. Murray State controlled the pace for much of the contest and used consistent scoring across all four quarters to secure the win.
MSC came out with energy in the opening period, building a 22–14 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Aggies continued to execute on both ends of the floor in the second quarter, pushing the advantage to 41–30 at halftime. Murray State maintained its momentum after the break, extending the lead to 61–49 at the end of the third quarter.
NOC–Enid tried to answer back in the fourth, but the Lady Aggies answered with timely baskets and defensive stops to protect the lead down the stretch and close out the 70–62 victory.
Aniah Richard led Murray State with 16 points, setting the tone offensively throughout the game.
Eliece Perry added 14 points, providing a steady scoring presence, while
Emily Steven contributed 13 points to give MSC three players in double figures.
Murray State will return to the court on January 12 as they host Redlands College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
