No. 22 Aggies Edged on the Road by NOC-Enid

No. 22 Murray State dropped a Region 2 matchup with NOC-Enid tonight

ENID, Okla. — The Murray State College men's basketball team battled through a fast-paced affair on the road Thursday night but ultimately fell to Northern Oklahoma College-Enid, 94-84, in Region 2 action.

Murray State kept the game close through the opening 20 minutes but found itself behind, 45-37, at intermission.

The Aggies battled back and took the lead midway through the second half. However, the Jets quickly tied the game up and retook the lead. The visitors from Tishomingo traded baskets with the Jets until the final four minutes of the game when NOC-Enid pulled ahead for good, 94-84.

Aymen Kraria led Murray State scoring a team-high 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting and adding seven rebounds in 29 minutes of action.

The Aggies connected on 41.8% of their field goals and shot 34.8% from three-point range.

With the result, the Aggies move to 12-4 on the season and 1-1 in Region 2 play.

Murray State College returns to the court Jan. 12 for a home contest against Redlands Community College. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
