Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College Lady Aggies earned a hard-fought 60–51 win over Ranger College on Monday, using a strong second-half surge to pull away and secure the victory.
Murray State found themselves trailing 14–13 after the opening quarter but battled back to enter halftime tied at 28–28. Out of the break, the Lady Aggies began to separate, outscoring Ranger 18–12 in the third period to take a 46–40 lead into the final frame. Murray State closed the door from there, controlling the fourth quarter to finish off the nine-point win.
Offensively, the Lady Aggies saw balanced production across the roster.
Jordyn McNeal led the way with 13 points, while
Emily Steven and
Jada Toure each added 11.
Aniah Richard provided a strong boost with nine points.
Keshanti Gordon chipped in with seven points, while
J'Lynn Orozco contributed six.
Murray State returns to action on Thursday, Nov. 20 as they host No. 10 Grayson College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
