Aggies Dominate Early, Cruise Past Thunderducks

MSC Men’s Basketball earned a home win on Tuesday Night

TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College men's basketball team put together its most explosive start of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Dallas College-Richland 99-79.

The Aggies came out firing on all cylinders, jumping out to a commanding 34-5 lead just 11 minutes into the game. Their relentless defense and fast-paced offense overwhelmed the Thunderducks early, setting the tone for the night. By halftime, Murray State held a 54-28 advantage, showcasing both efficiency and depth across the roster.

In the second half, the Aggies maintained control and continued to find success in transition, with balanced scoring from multiple players en route to a 99-79 victory on Tuesday.

The Aggies shot a blistering 60.7% from the field, 48.1% percent from deep, and 72.4% from the charity stripe. Haki Muhammad II led the way with 24 points, connecting on 5-of-10 shots from the floor and going 12-of-14 from the free-throw line, while also recording two steals. Tayesen Combs provided a spark off the bench with 13 points, including three three-pointers.

The Aggies saw contributions across the lineup — Abeeng Agot tallied 11 points and four rebounds, Aymen Kraria added 10 points and seven boards, and Ashton Smith dished out six assists to go along with eight points.

Murray State College will look to carry this energy into their next contest as they travel to Texas to battle Weatherford College on Thursday and Ranger College on Friday.
