Eleven three pointers proved pivotal as the Murray State Aggies opened the second half of conference play Thursday night with a 73-63 triumph over visiting Seminole State College inside Beames Fieldhouse.

The Aggies held a slim 30-29 advantage at intermission but were fueled by the hot hand of Tarrance Austin in the second half as they pulled away to the double digit victory, improving to 11-12 on the season and 6-3 in league action. Murray State will be idle until next Thursday when they visit league-leading Connors State.

Austin pumped in 16 points after the half and finished with three treys as the sophomore tied his season-high with 21 points in the contest.

Stanley Harley came out sizzling in the opening half, tossing in all 14 of his points while staking the Aggies to the early lead. Isaiah Lewis also reached double figures with 11 points, notching three treys as well.

Treyvaughn Williams contributed eight, Rustin Coffey and Emery Eberhard had six apiece, R.J. Chatman scored three while Jackson Lawley and Dayvantia Campbell added two each.
