A decisive 10-0 Murray State run midway through the first half put the Aggies in front and they never trailed again on the way to an 81-71 conference opening victory at Seminole State College on Monday night, snapping a five-game losing skid.

Isaiah Lewis was the offensive stalwart early on, pumping in 15 points in the opening half alone while fueling the Aggies to a 39-31 advantage. Murray State turned up the offense even further after intermission, notching 42 more points led by 13 from
Stanley Harley.
The Aggies hit just six three pointers but cashed in at the charity stripe, hitting 11 of 14 free throws down the stretch to seal the league win as Murray State improved to 6-9 overall.
Harley finished with a team-best 23 points with Lewis adding a season-high 21 for the game.
Tarrance Austin tossed in 14,
RJ Chatman had eight,
Emery Eberhard scored six,
Dayvantia Campbell tossed in four,
Jackson Lawley pitched in three and
Rustin Coffey rounded things out with two points.
Murray State will have the remainder of the week off before hosting Connors State College on Monday, January 15.
