Aggie staff slates summer baseball camps

Baseball camp dates have been announced by the Murray State coaching staff for camps they will be holding throughout the summer at the Murray State College Baseball Field, known as The Ranch, on the school campus.

The Aggie staff will hold a pair of prospect camps for any unsigned high school graduate from 2023 to 2026. Day one is slated for Monday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the second camp set for Tuesday, June 27 also from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost of each camp is $80.

Each player must bring their own glove, bat, helmet, cleats, hat and any other equipment they feel necessary. Fielding players will be judged on their 60-yard times as well as defensive ability along with hitting. Pitchers will also have evaluations done during a bullpen session.

Murray State's Annual Youth Camp is scheduled for June 5-7 from 9 a.m. to Noon each day for ages 7 through 13. Throwing, infield play, outfield play, catching and hitting will be covered extensively. Cost is $75.

All campers should bring their own glove, bat, helmet, cleats and hat, as well as any other equipment they feel necessary.
