Lady Aggies sink 14 treys for 11th straight win

The Murray State Lady Aggies blistered the nets while tying a season-high 14 three-pointers, romping to their 11^th consecutive win in dominant fashion of a 82-53 decision at Eastern State College on Thursday night.

Improving to 18-6 on the season and 10-1 in conference play, the Lady Aggies will be back home Monday against Connors State for a 5:30 tipoff inside Beames Fieldhouse.

The Lady Aggies set the tone early, sinking six of the treys in the opening quarter while building a 22-13 advantage and steadily increased the margin from there. Murray led 40-23 at intermission and that cushion ballooned to 64-36 at the end of three stanzas.

Sophomore Mattie Busby pumped in a season-high 20 points to pace five Lady Aggies in double figures. Remi Langmaid notched 14, Briana Knabe and Jade Millan added 11 each with Payton James scoring 10 as the three-point barrage was evenly distributed.

Lanie Gooch chipped in six, Reese Webb and Paige Taylor had four apiece with Teniola Okunrinkoya contributing two points.
