Eldorado, Kansas- Despite
Lloyd Daniels 18 points, the Aggies dropped a 88-55 decision at Butler to the Hutchinson Blue Dragons Friday night at the Power Plant. The loss puts the Aggies record to 3-3 on the season.
Freshman guard Mark Harrell add 12 points on 4-7 shooting from the behind the three-point line.
Kyle Murray set a career high in rebounds (8 rebounds) for the Aggies.
Daniels was the first to score on the night for the Aggies. The 2-0 lead would be the inly time that the Aggies would lead in the game. Hutchinson would then jump out to a 13-2 lead with 15:45 in the first half. A
Karey McLeish three would pull the Aggies to within eight with 11:54 but Hutchinson would go on a 9-0 run to push the lead to 17. The Blue Dragons would go into the half up 26.
Murray State would rally and got the lead as close as 22 but the Blue Dragons were able to extend the lead for the rest of the contest.
The Aggies shot 26% from the field and 29% from three.
James Rojas led the Blue Dragons with 15 points.
The Aggies next play Butler Community College at the Power Plant Saturday night at 7:30
