Nate Levine enters his third season as Head Coach of the Murray State College Women’s Basketball program after being hired in May of 2023. In his first season he led the Lady Aggies to a 15-13 overall record, including wins over Panola College, Howard College, and Connors State. The Lady Aggies had four Freshman average double figures, including Sosefina Langi (14.8 PPG & 6.0 RPG) who was the leading vote-getter on the All-Region 2nd Team.
In his second season, Coach Levine's Lady Aggies won the Region 2 Regular Season with a 15-1 conference record. The Lady Aggies also won the Region 2 Tournament and made an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament. Four MSC women's basketball players earned spots on the All-Region team, including Ongolea Agu being named the Region 2 Most Valuable Player. Levine was also tabbed the Region 2 Co-Coach of the Year.
Coach Nate was previously an Assistant Coach at Weber State University in Ogden, UT, where he spent 5 seasons.
During his time at Weber State, Levine assisted in all aspects of the program including recruiting, skill development, team skill instruction, advanced scouting and prep, team travel, camps, team gear & equipment, overseeing managers, overseeing practice players, and assisting with academics. During his time in Ogden, Levine helped coach Daryn Hickok to All-Big Sky honors in three consecutive seasons. Hickok and Jadyn Matthews rank 3rd and 8th, respectively, in Weber State program history in career points. Matthews additionally checks into the career rebounds rankings at 4th with 1,005.
Prior to his time at Weber State, Levine coached at San Luis Obispo High School for three seasons. In the offseason, Levine worked with local central coast AAU program 3Ball Academy. He also worked camps at Utah, BYU, UNLV, Stanford, and UCLA.
Levine graduated from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Management & Human Resources. During his time at Cal Poly he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He also spent multiple seasons as a practice player for the women’s basketball team, including part of the team that won a Big West title and competed in the NCAA tournament.
Levine is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City where he was a member of the 2009 state championship basketball team.
