LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NJCAA D2 All-Region Teams were released this afternoon, and six Murray State College softball players were recognized for their efforts on the field this season.
Isabella Hardeman,
Kaylee Carter,
Brylee Fanning,
Cady Ammons,
Jaliyah Simmons, and
Lilly Wyche were named First Team All-Region, which were the most first-team selections for any team in the country.
Isabella Hardeman turned in a dominant season in the circle, establishing herself as one of the premier pitchers in the country. She posted a stellar 0.81 ERA with an impressive 30-1 record across 35 appearances. In 138.2 innings of work, Hardeman allowed just 65 hits and 16 earned runs while striking out a remarkable 200 batters and holding opponents to a .135 batting average.
Kaylee Carter put together an outstanding season, combining power and plate discipline at an elite level. She hit .449 with 70 hits, 70 RBIs, and 22 home runs while drawing an impressive 59 walks, helping her post a .594 on-base percentage. Carter also recorded 18 doubles and played flawless defense, finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
Brylee Fanning continued to be a key contributor with an impressive sophomore season. Fanning batted .466 with 75 hits, 63 RBIs, and 21 home runs, while also scoring 91 runs. Fanning added 23 doubles and four triples, showing her ability to hit for both power and gap-to-gap consistency. With a .584 on-base percentage and strong defensive play, she proved to be one of the most complete players on the roster.
Cady Ammons showcased incredible consistency and power en route to an All-Region campaign. She posted a .511 batting average with 92 hits, 85 RBIs, and 18 home runs while adding 21 doubles and four triples. Ammons also scored 80 runs and maintained a .972 slugging percentage, proving to be a reliable run producer in the heart of the order and a key contributor to the team's offensive dominance.
Jaliyah Simmons was a dynamic force throughout her sophomore season, blending power, speed, and production. Simmons hit .448 with 90 hits, 85 RBIs, and 20 home runs while scoring a team-high 98 runs. Simmons also added 31 stolen bases without being caught, showcasing her elite speed and baserunning instincts.
Lilly Wyche delivered one of the most explosive offensive seasons in the country. She hit an outstanding .535 with a staggering 1.224 slugging percentage, collecting 91 hits, 102 RBIs, and 28 home runs. Wyche also scored 91 runs, added 15 doubles and nine triples, and was perfect on the bases with 26 stolen bases. Her ability to impact the game in every facet made her one of the most dangerous hitters in the nation.

The Lady Aggies begin play in the NJCAA Division II Softball World Series on Tuesday. Murray State earned the No. 2 seed and will take on the winner of No. 15 Louisburg and No. 18 Cuyahoga Community College at 5:30 p.m. at Tyger River Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
