TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College baseball team swept National Park College on Thursday to win the crossover playoff series. The Aggies won game one, 10-0, and game two, 12-2.

Game 1: Murray State 10, National Park 0 (5 Innings)
Murray State struck immediately in the bottom of the first inning.
Michael Barham got things rolling with an RBI double to center, scoring
Brady Taylor for the game's first run. Moments later,
Rayner Beene followed with an RBI single to bring home Barham and give the Aggies a quick 2-0 lead.

The Aggies continued to apply pressure in the third inning when
Tanner Norman delivered an RBI double to center field, plating Beene and stretching the advantage to 3-0.

In the fourth, Murray State broke the game open.
Cason Johnson came home on a sacrifice fly from Taylor to make it 4-0 before Beene delivered the biggest swing of the day—a three-run home run to center field that scored
Eli Ramirez and Barham, pushing the lead to 7-0.

Murray State closed it out in the fifth inning with more offensive production. Ramirez drove in Johnson with an RBI single to left. Later in the inning, Taylor capped the scoring with a two-run single, bringing home Ramirez and
Brady LaViolette to secure the 10-0 run-rule victory.

Tayte Dome got the start on the mound for the Aggies. Dome earned the complete-game shutout as he threw five innings, while striking out eight.

Game 2: Murray State 12, National Park 2 (5 Innings)
Murray State wasted no time jumping in front in the top of the first inning.
Tanner Norman ripped an RBI single to center to score
Brady Taylor. Later in the frame,
Sean Keenen hit an RBI groundout to make it 2-0.

National Park answered in the bottom half with an RBI double, but the Aggies quickly regained control. In the second inning,
Michael Barham delivered an RBI single to extend the lead to 3-1.

The game broke wide open in the third inning as Murray State's offense erupted.
Cason Johnson executed a perfectly placed bunt single that brought home two runs, and moments later,
Brady LaViolette crushed a two-run home run to left field. Not to be outdone, Taylor followed with a solo shot to right, pushing the Aggies' lead to 8-1.

Murray State kept the pressure on in the fourth when Keenen added another RBI single to score Norman. The Aggies then put the game out of reach in the fifth inning.
Rayner Beene lined a two-run double to left, and Norman capped the scoring with an RBI double to center, stretching the advantage to 12-1.

National Park managed a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth, but it was far from enough as the Aggies secured the 12-2 run-rule victory.

Caden Allen picked up the win as he fired four innings, while striking out three and giving up one run.
Isaac Gammel threw the last inning in relief, while striking out two and giving up one run.

The Aggies advance to the double-elimination bracket portion of the Region 2 Tournament in Enid. Murray State will play on Thursday, May 7, at 4:00 p.m.Â
