SEMINOLE, Okla. – Lilly Wyche has been named Region 2 Player of the Week after putting together a dominant performance at the plate in Murray State College's four-game sweep of North Arkansas College over the weekend.

Wyche was nearly unstoppable across the two-day stretch, hitting an impressive 8-for-12 (.667) while helping power the Lady Aggies' offense in every game of the series.

On Thursday, Wyche opened the day with a hit in the first game before exploding in game two, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBIs, including a triple and a home run to spark a big offensive showing.

She carried that momentum into Friday, delivering another standout performance. Wyche went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a double in the first game of the day, consistently finding barrels and driving in key runs. She followed it up in the finale by going 1-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs, adding another home run to cap off the weekend.

Wyche currently leads the country with 91 RBIs and boasts a team-high .567 batting average with 24 home runs.

The Murray State College softball team is 55-1 and ranked No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Coaches Poll, which was released earlier today.
