SEMINOLE, Okla. – Freshman infielder, Lilly Wyche, has earned Region 2 Player of the Week honors after an outstanding performance during the Branson Bash last week.
 
Wyche was a key contributor all week, helping the Lady Aggies secure victories over No. 21 Parkland College, No. 6 Des Moines Area Community College, and No. 18 North Iowa Area Community College. On Thursday, she went 5-for-6 at the plate with 5 RBIs and 2 home runs, driving in runs in both matchups and leading the team offensively.
 
The next day, Wyche continued her hot streak, going 2-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 2 home runs, showcasing her consistency and power at the plate.
 
Across the two days, Wyche tallied 7 hits in 11 at-bats with 8 RBIs, and 4 home runs. On the season, Wyche is hitting .560 with a team-best 53 RBI's and 14 home runs.
 
The Murray State College softball team is 31-1 and ranked No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Coaches Poll, which was released earlier today.

UP NEXT
The Lady Aggies begin Region 2 play as they travel to Arkansas to take on National Park College in a doubleheader on Mar. 13. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
