SEMINOLE, Okla. – Murray State College freshman standout - Lilly Wyche - has been named the Region 2 Player of the Week for the second time this season, continuing a dominant campaign that has placed her among the nation's elite hitters.

Wyche's production at the plate has been nothing short of remarkable, as she currently leads the NJCAA with 19 home runs and 72 RBIs. Her RBI total is especially eye-popping, sitting 14 ahead of the next closest player nationally.

The freshman slugger added to her impressive résumé last week with a huge four-game stretch over the weekend, leading the Lady Aggies to a series of wins over ASU Mid-South and ASU-Newport.

Wyche hit .900 with 11 RBIs, 8 runs scored, 3 triples, and 3 home runs during the four-game span, showcasing both her power and consistency at the plate.

The Murray State College softball team is 39-1 and ranked No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Coaches Poll, which was released earlier today.
