Jordyn McNeal was Named Region 2 Player of the Week

SEMINOLE, Okla. – Murray State College standout Jordyn McNeal has been named Region 2 Player of the Week following her strong performance in the Lady Aggies' victory over No. 24 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Feb. 26.
 
McNeal played a key role in Murray State's statement win, finishing with 21 points while shooting 5-of-10 from the field. She was especially effective at the free-throw line, converting 11-of-14 attempts to help secure the win over the nationally ranked opponent.
 
In addition to her scoring effort, McNeal contributed across the stat sheet with nine rebounds, including three on the offensive glass, while adding two steals, one assist, and one block. Her defensive presence and rebounding helped the Lady Aggies control momentum throughout the matchup.
 
McNeal's performance against NEO A&M highlighted her all-around impact for Murray State this season. Through 26 games, she is averaging 12.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 49.1 percent from the field.
 
The Lady Aggies travel to Altus to take on Western Oklahoma State College this evening. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
