Rayner Beene was Named Region 2 Player of the Week

SEMINOLE, Okla. – Rayner Beene put together a clutch, power-filled series against Southeast Arkansas College, earning NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week honors after spearheading Murray State College's offensive attack.
 
 Across the series, he went 8-for-15 (.533) with seven RBIs, six runs scored, two doubles, one triple, and one home run, consistently coming through in key moments as the Aggies swept Southeast Arkansas.
 
In the second game of the series, Beene went 4-for-5 with a triple, three RBIs, and two runs scored. His ability to bounce back set the tone for the remainder of the series. Beene stayed hot the next day, posting back-to-back multi-hit performances. In the first game, he went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. He closed the series with another 2-for-3 outing, scoring twice and blasting a home run while driving in three more runs.
