Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College baseball team fell to Connors State College, 12-1, Thursday afternoon.

Murray State got on the board first in the bottom of the first inning when
Brady Taylor launched a solo home run to right field, giving the Aggies a 1–0 advantage.

Connors State quickly responded in the second inning with a three-run home run, putting the Cowboys ahead 3–1. The Cowboys added to their lead in the third inning, scoring on a groundout and an RBI double to extend the margin to 6–1.

The game broke open in the fifth inning as the Cowboys plated six runs in the frame, using a series of bases-loaded walks and a hit-by-pitch to push the lead to 12–1.

Murray State was unable to generate additional offense after Taylor's first-inning homer and lost to Connors State on Thursday.

Tayte Dome started on the mound for the Aggies. Dome struck out four over three innings, while giving up six runs.
Heath Graf,
Peyton Eichler,
Kylen Dodge, and
Gunner Long all threw in relief. Long threw 2 â…“ scoreless innings while striking out a pair of Connors State batters.

The Aggies return to the diamond tomorrow as they travel to Warner to take on Connors State College. First pitch is set for noon.
