Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College Lady Aggies continued their strong run through Region 2 play with a victory over Eastern Oklahoma State College on Monday night inside Beames Fieldhouse, 73-61.
Murray State took a 36-31 lead into halftime and maintained control throughout the second half to secure the win. With the victory, the Lady Aggies improved to 14-5 overall and remained perfect in Region 2 action at 5-0.
Jordyn McNeal led all scorers with 18 points, providing a steady offensive presence for Murray State.
Aniah Richard also reached double figures, finishing with 13 points as the Lady Aggies balanced scoring and strong defensive effort helped keep Eastern Oklahoma State College at bay.
Murray State's defense limited Eastern Oklahoma State College's opportunities in the second half, allowing the Lady Aggies to build and protect their lead down the stretch.
The Lady Aggies will look to keep their Region 2 momentum going as they continue conference play next week. Murray State returns to the court Jan. 26 for a road contest against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
