SEMINOLE, Okla. – Murray State College women's basketball standout guard,
Emily Steven, has been named the Region 2 Player of the Week, following a strong performance in a pair of road victories for the Lady Aggies.
Steven averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds per game as Murray State went a perfect 2-0 on the road, defeating Seminole State College and Northern Oklahoma College–Enid. Her consistent scoring and presence on the boards played a key role in helping the Lady Aggies maintain their early-season momentum in conference play.
The back-to-back road wins last week and home win over Redlands Community College yesterday improved Murray State's overall record to 12-5 and a perfect 3-0 record in Region 2 action.
