Six Lady Aggies scored in double figures and Murray State took control from the start while blasting Northern Oklahoma College-Enid for a 94-46 conference win Friday night inside Beames Fieldhouse.
The victory was Murray State's sixth straight and improved the Lady Aggies' overall record to 21-3 as well as 11-1 in league play. Two pivotal road matchups await Coach Nate Levine's club next week as they travel to Redlands on Monday and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Friday.
Murray State's onslaught began nearly immediately as the host poured in 27 first quarter points as seven different players all tallied on the scoreboard to provide an omen for things to come.
The hosts were up 27-14 through one stanza, 47-26 at intermission and 69-38 through three frames as they racked up at least 20 points in each 10-minute period.
Mya Cotto and
Arissa Garcia pumped in 15 points apiece to lead that offensive charge.
Ongolea Afu and
Keshanti Gordon chipped in 13 each,
Olivia Quapaw had 12 with
Jordyn McNeal tallying 10.
Taja Bennett ended with eight points,
Mireia Casas pitched in five and
Latai Charles notched three.
