Box Score HIGHLAND, Kan. - Murray State College women's basketball returned to the court this afternoon with a 98-67 victory against Highland Community College.

The Lady Aggies traded baskets in the first ten minutes as the Scotties led 22-21 after one. Murray State outscored Highland 24-16 in the second quarter, taking a seven point lead into the half.

Murray State exploded for a 30-point third quarter, extending the lead to double figures. The Lady Aggies picked up the defensive effort in the fourth quarter, holding Highland to just nine points in the final ten minutes en route to a commanding 98-67 victory.

Jada Toure led the Aggies with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while
Maddy Torres,
Eliece Perry, and
Jordyn McNeal each recorded double figures in the contest.

The Aggies shot 45.5% from the field, 28.9% from three, and 68% from the free-throw line, while Highland Community College shot 36.8% from the field, 40% from three, and 67.7% from the charity stripe. Murray State dominated the Scotties on the glass collecting 24 offensive rebounds, outrebounding Highland by 21.

Murray State returns to action on Friday, Nov. 7 as they host Arkansas Cossatot. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
