TISHOMINGO, Okla. - Murray State College men's soccer came up just short on Sophomore Day, falling 1–0 to Eastern Oklahoma State College on Sunday afternoon. With the result, the Aggies and Mountaineers both move to 8-1-2 in Region 2 play.

Nwaebube OJ Iheaku - were honored for their dedication and hard work wearing the Aggie uniform.
The match was tightly contested throughout, with both teams entering halftime locked in a scoreless draw. Eastern Oklahoma State broke through early in the second half, capitalizing on a chance to take a 1–0 lead.
Murray State pushed for an equalizer in the final 25 minutes, generating several dangerous opportunities, but the Eastern defense held firm to secure the result.
"Today was a disappointing result after an excellent first half," said
Coach Winning. "Decisions and moments change games, and the sending off early in the second half changed the momentum of the game. We will see them again I am sure, and we are all eager for that."
The Aggies will look to bounce back in their final regular season match on the road against the University of Arkansas - Rich Mountain. The match is set to start at 4:00 p.m.
